Description

This top-of-the-line cold forged, over-balanced diaphragm first stage regulator is environmentally sealed and equipped with 4 low-pressure ports and 2 high-pressure ports. The eDX regulator features a heat exchanger for enhanced cold water performance, ensuring reliable functionality in various conditions.

Made from forged chromed marine brass, the balanced diaphragm first stage is designed to keep contaminants out. The impermeable diaphragm membrane transmits water pressure to internal components, preventing exposure to salt, sand, chlorine, or pool acids, which can cause corrosion and mineral deposits. This design requires less maintenance compared to regulators that allow contaminants to enter the internal mechanism.

The eDX first stage regulator also includes a secondary diaphragm to seal the main spring cavity completely. This sealed balanced diaphragm design is ideal for ice diving, as it prevents freezing, and for diving in waters with contaminants or sediment, as it resists corrosion. The eDX regulator is nitrox ready out of the box, compatible with up to 40% oxygen.
